Action Points

This is a new section to the website. The aim is for "action points" to contain a number of individual action guides covering the range of topics also covered in the document archives and news sections. Each will contain good ideas demonstrating how you can help build a safer, better world from the comfort of your own home.

Thanks to Andrew for suggesting this addition to the site.

As reported in our Latest News section, the DSEi Arms Fair is due to be held in London from 13-16 September. A Global Message of Peace and Goodwill to All

Action Point submitted by Rachel on Tuesday, 21st December 2004. 02:43 PM

It has been a year of mixed emotions for members and supporters of Wrekin Stop War.

The war in Iraq and other conflicts elsewhere in the world raged on and Bush somehow secured another four years in the Whitehouse, which caused deep regret amongst our members. The War on Terror becomes more like a War on Freedom every day and the calculated programme of misinformation undertaken by world Governments and the established media has created an atmosphere of mistrust throughout society.

However, for our group the year has not been without positive achievements.

"BOYCOTT BU$H" by Rachel

Action Point submitted by Rachel on Wednesday, 20th October 2004. 01:37 PM

As described on the front page, Bush's campaign for this November's presidential election is receiving funding from the British consumer. Apart from the obvious suspects like ESSO, Wal-Mart (Asda) and McDonalds, everything from crisps to cold remedies are funding Bush's quest for world domination.

Get Bush where it hurts by Boycotting his sponsors.
